Arguing about the Oscars

I am one of a quartet of film critics who will be on hand this Saturday (Feb. 21) to discuss the upcoming Academy Awards at the Nickelodeon. It’s always a great event, audiences always get the chance to chime in, and it’s completely and totally free.
The redoubtable Morton Marcus hosts the event. I am joined on the “panel” by Good Times reviewer Lisa Jensen and gadfly Bruce Bratton of brattononline.com. Come talk about your favorites and tell us why we’re wrong. It all starts at 11 a.m. Saturday. at the Nickelodeon.
Meanwhile, here’s my argument, to be published in the Sentinel on Friday, that “Milk” should be awarded Best Picture.
